Title- Diary of a Wimpy Kid- Cabin Fever Author- Jeff Kinney

The book is about a kid named Greg Heffley who gets trapped in his house during a huge snow storm and he tries to make money to get tokens for his virtual pet online.

The book is fiction- my favorite character is Greg Heffley because he is very funny because he tries to make money for his online pet but all his attempts fail. I appreciated that he was trying to find ways to make money by doing caring things(e.g. shoveling people’s driveways).

I would recommend this book because this book is funny and can make you laugh and be happy. Anyone could understand this book, it’s not extremely hard and boring.

I read the book the daughters join the party. It’s by Joanna Philbin (Regis Philbins daughter). This book is about a girl named Emma who’s dad is a well liked senator. She has a brother named Remington who is smart, charismatic, and well liked by everyone. Emma is used to her brother being better than her but she’s still jealous. She gets kicked out of boarding school and has to get transferred to Chadwick. There she meets Lizzie, Hudson, and Carina. Emma’s dad decides that he’s going to run for president. It’s a secret and Emma can’t tell anyone. But when Emma has to make a speech on behalf of her “sick” brother things go terribbly wrong. Emma accidently says her dad is running for President. Her life will never be the same again.

I WILL POST THE REST OF MY EXTRA CREDIT ANOTHER TIME.

My favorite character in the story the daughters join the party is Walker. Walker is a boy that Emma has known her whole life. He is the same age as Remington and they used to be best friends. She secretely has a crush on him and makes little attempts to get closer with him. I appreciated that he was extremely smart also, even when Remington and him aren’t friends he still keeps his friendship with Emma. He stuck by her almost the whole story. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. It’s funny, romantic, suspenseful, and much more. This book is part of the series the daughters. This is the last book in the series and you do have to read them in order to understand. This book is definitely just for girls but it’s definitely a good read. If you are looking for a feel good book to read than this is definitely for you!

Very nice. Is Joanna Philbin actually a good author or did she get published based on who her father is?

Joanna Philbin is actually a very good author. I loved all of her books. Although I did start reading her books because of who she is I think she is actually a very good writer. I think her books would’ve been just as successful if her father wasn’t who he was.

I read the book House Rules. It’s by Jodi Picoult. This book is about a boy named Jacob. He has Aspergers, a form of autism. This disease causes him to not be able to look people in the eye, eating specific colors on specific days, and he focuses on one subject, forensic analysis. Forensic analysis is crime scene investigation. But, when Jacob’s tutor is found dead, he is accused of murder. And Jacob’s disease looks like guilt to the jury. My favorite character of the book is Jacob. He is so smart and it’s amazing to know that there are people with Aspergers like Jacob. I think it is amazing how Jacob’s family lives to fulfill Jacob’s needs. I would definitely recommend this book to other people. This was one of the best books I ever read. I was so into it that I completed reading it in 3 days. If you are someone who can’t take the time to read (especially such a big book) then I would not recommend it. Also, the book can be confusing since each chapter is narrated from a different person in the story. This book has a lot of hard vocabulary so I would have a dictionary at your nightstand. Other than that I have nothing negative to say about house rules or Jodi Picoult.

I read the book Nineteen Minutes. It’s by Jodi Picoult. This book is about a boy named Peter who is bullied throughout his whole life. Finally, he takes a stand. Not a stand like telling the teacher, or calling them names, or anything like that. Instead, he does something far more permanent, he takes nineteen minutes in Sterling High School to kill. My favorite character in this story is Lacy, Peter’s mom. The whole time during the story I felt so bad for her. If Peter was my child I wouldn’t know what to do except to blame myself. Even if it wasn’t my fault at all. During the book I felt like I was with her the whole time cheering her on. I loved this book too. I think Jodi Picoult writes amazingly and she is my new favorite author. I would recommend this book if you don’t mind sad stories because parts of it are very sad. It is also very lengthy and has some pretty difficult vocabulary. Other than that this book was a home run for me!

3 days??? I don’t think I’ve ever read a book in 3 days. Nice work. Sounds like a page turner. I agree with you that a different narrator in each chapter could get confusing.

I read “Fallen” by Lauren Kate. This book is about a girl named Luce who is forced to transfer into a boarding school because of her parents. Ever since Luce was little she had been seeing shadows that pushed her and always bothered her in mysterious ways. When she finally told her parents about this, they thought Luce was crazy and decided to take her to a boarding school. In boarding school, Luce meets a new friend, Arriane. Arriane gives her a tour around the school and they become quick friends. Along the tour, Luce sees a mysterious yet charming guy named Daniel. When they first make eye-contact, Daniel flips Luce over. This puzzles her and she wants to know more about him. Meanwhile, another charming boy named Cam starts to like Luce as well. When Cam start to make it more obvious that he has feelings for Luce, Luce also start to fall for Cam as well. However, one day, Daniel also start to show his feelings for Luce. After many fights between Cam and Daniel, Luce decides to go with Daniel. At the end of the book, Daniel and Cam come from being enemies to forgiving each other for Luce’s sake. My favorite character in this book is Cam because he tries to win Luce over Daniel by being very romantic and sweet to Luce. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read horror and romance novels!
