How do artists portray their point of view in political cartoons?
Political cartoons are drawings that present a positive or negative point of view on issues, events or people.
Political cartoons have symbolic representations of people, places and things. Example: Uncle Sam=United States
Always read the captions and labels for clues.
We will be looking at political cartoons in class. They can also be found in your newspaper on the editorial page.
